Bonney’s WA Water Ski Park has developed since 1985. The owner and builder Frank Bonney’s vision was to provide Western Australian skiers a clean safe & friendly water skiing environment.
Today the Park caters to the needs of recreational and social skiers through to the requirements of World Class skiers in Slalom, Trick, Jump, Barefoot and Disabled skiing.
The Ski Park is located 30 minutes south of Perth by road. The park is on 150 acres of land and the 5 manmade freshwater lakes cover 110 acres. All lakes are sheltered from the wind by tree rows and the engineered lake edges ensure the boats wake is extinguished saying good bye to backwash. During summer the park attracts in excess of 500 skiers and visitors per week. The tranquil lakeside settings are complimented with gas BBQ’s, ablution facilities including hot showers. Adjacent to our lakeside Pro-Shop there is a Skiers Cafe` and camping area. Accommodation is available in our lakeside Chalet which is fully equipped and sleeps 8 or our Cabins with use of our camp kitchen.

Frank Bonney’s Skiing Career:
16 times Western Australian State Slalom Champion. 7 times Australian Slalom Champion.
Current Australian Slalom Champion Men’s 55 plus.
In addition to the above Gold Medals Frank has won many provincial Slalom Tournaments. His distinguished Slalom skiing career has spanned many years. He is no stranger to the podium at Australian Titles, winning Gold 7 times to be Australian Champion is backed up with 20 silver medals at Australian National Championships. Frank has placed 1st or 2nd over 27 years of skiing against the best skiers in Australia. A wonderful career and as current Australian Champion Men’s 55 plus Frank is a role model to all skiers. Besides Skiing Frank and wife Jacquie are actively involved with the management of the Water Ski Park. Whether coaching or working around the Park Frank has a handy tip for all who meet him.
