Cheryl has been Jet Sprint racing for five seasons, graduating from Restricted class to Group A class three season ago
and now the big step up to Super boat.
Cheryl competed in the many of the recent World Jet Sprinting Series titles. Cheryl
has placed highly in the world championships, currently ranked at
15th.
Cheryl is the current WA State title holder in Super boat class

Meg launched her Jet Sprinting career at the start
of the 2005/2006 season. This is Meg’s first foray into motor sport
and shows a real aptitude for navigating. This season and the end of
last season meg teamed up with Cheryl Welch in Superboat class

Jamie first raced
as a Jet Sprint boat driver in the season of 2004-2005 as part of the
Liberator Racing Team, Jamie has done very well and is gaining
experience fast. He had some great race times during the season and
enjoys racing with his navigator Sam Kenny.
Jamie's final placing was 2nd Place for Super boat at the recent State
Championships.

Chris Kent has been racing for many years, and has
competed both locally and in the world series. He is
one of our most experienced race drivers and one of the founding
members of the West Coast Jet Sprint Club.

The WCJSC season at Baldivis in 2003 was Alan
Carr's first event. Alan was the restricted Jet Sprint State
Title holder in 2004/2005.
Al has now stepped up to International Group A class "B" team
driving with Chris Kent. He placed 2nd in the 2007-2008 WA State
Championship titles.

John started in
the sport of Jet Sprinting in 2001 as navigator for his father
Richard Treen.
At the end of the season 2004 John
decided it was time to try his talent behind the wheel and prove his
skill and accuracy is not limited to navigating. 2008-2009 season John has
recruited a new
navigator in Amy Vinden. We watch with interest to see how this new
combination pans out

This is Amy's first
season as sprint boat navigator. Amy had a bit of a "baptism of
fire" when the new driver navigator combination had a major crash at
the seasons test and tune day. This mishap hasn't put her off
rather made her more determined to succeed.

Richard Treen

Richard started in the sport of Jet Sprinting
in early 2001. His interest
grew from assisting as part of the pit crew for Cheryl and Geoff
of “Liberator Racing”. He now is the owner and driver of boat #15
“The Negotiator”.
Beginning in Restricted class at the end of the 2001 season in a
borrowed boat with his son (John) as navigator he progressed to an
International Group ‘A’ boat in
2002. Richard
has recently recruited a new navigator, Scott Lehmann when John decided
to continue his racing career behind the wheel.

Scott is a recent
new comer to the sport of Jet Sprinting, 2005 being his first season
in the navigator’s seat. He enjoys the thrill of the speed and action
of the boat and the thunder of the big Chevy V8’s. Scott shows
definite talent in providing accurate and timely calls to the driver.
Scott has come
from a car rally background, having navigated in many events over the
past three years. He always looks forward to Jet Sprint racing and who
knows maybe even one day behind the wheel, only time will tell.Occupation:

Nigel commenced
his sprinting career in restricted class but this season has opted
to step up to the new Turbo Outlaw class sprint
boat. Nigel runs his own boat building business "Ocean Whaler
Marine" and is the clubs guru on the Turbo Outlaw class. If you are
interested in this class definitely have a chat with Nigel at the
races.
